PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS

Psychological Evaluations are completed by a Licensed Psychologist and critically evaluates for Clinical and Personality diagnoses. Substance Abuse Assessments are included within a psychological evaluation, as substance abuse is a significant factor in treatment recommendations. This also includes a comprehensive review of background information and interviews with current therapists. The evaluations can include a Parenting and/or Domestic Violence component at a small additional cost.

Clients should plan to be in the ITM office for the duration of 4-6 hours with a 1-hour break being offered in between the interview portion and the testing portion of the evaluation for lunch.

No cells phone or devices are allowed in the testing room and may be kept in your car or upfront with our staff.

PSYCHOSEXUAL EVALUATIONS

Psychosexual Evaluations are completed by Licensed Psychologists who are members of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers and have a minimum of one year of experience in providing therapy to sex offenders. This evaluation is appropriate for adults and adolescents who sexually offend. A Psychosexual Evaluation includes the Psychological Evaluation. This is a comprehensive evaluation for psychological diagnoses, psychopathy and sexual deviance. Substance Abuse Assessments are included within a psychological evaluation, as substance abuse is a significant factor in treatment recommendations. This also includes a comprehensive review of background information and interviews with current therapists. The evaluations can include a Parenting and/or Domestic Violence component at a small additional cost.

MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION

Mental Health Evaluations are completed by Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Mental Health Therapists and Clinical Social Workers. A Mental Health Evaluation includes a Psychosocial History (family dynamics, education, work experience, social dynamics, and relationships), Mental Status Examination, Psychological Diagnosis, Risk assessment and Recommendations. Substance Abuse Assessments are included within a Mental Health Evaluation, as substance abuse is a significant factor in treatment recommendations. This also includes a comprehensive review of background information and interviews with current therapists. The evaluations can include a Parenting and/or Domestic Violence component at a small additional cost.

Clients should plan to be in the ITM office for a duration of 2-4 hours.

INTELLIGENCE TESTING

Intelligence Testing includes a brief psychosocial history with a formal intelligence assessment that provides an IQ, strengths and weaknesses of abilities, and addresses developmental delays. This can be done separately or included within any of our assessments. Our office uses the highest standard of intelligence tests and typically takes two to three (2-3) hours to complete.
